We had several projects of apartments with a mezzanine. The objects, as a rule, are new buildings that are purchased for one person or a married couple. The presence of high ceilings and the opportunity to arrange a second level are not so much a pleasant bonus as a decisive factor in the decision to purchase such housing, since the usable area of the apartment increases. This layout, accordingly, determines the style of the future apartment: loft or modern. The arrangement of the bedroom on the second level requires the presence of a staircase leading from the living room. Therefore, the entire apartment is a kind of open space, and the bedroom is not soundproofed - this is a significant disadvantage of this layout. For a family with children, such an apartment is unlikely to be suitable, unless the children are already grown up and sometimes visit. But for modern business-minded young people or middle-aged people, this is an excellent planning solution that creates a democratic atmosphere in the open space of the apartment.

Angular.
Coupe.
Hesitation.

The best solution would be cabinets that will also decorate this interior.

Angular

This is the best option for a built-in wardrobe for a bedroom with a small area. You can place such a structure in different parts of the room, the functionality will not change.

Before purchasing this type of design, you need to consider its features:

the doors open in front of the cabinet, that is, they do not need to be opened, you can simply push them so that they move away;
extensive internal space - inside the structure there are many drawers of different sizes that can be pulled out and fixed, where things and clothes are stored;
the model can be equipped with an additional external rack suitable for storing books and accessories (paintings, vases);
decoration of the external surface of the doors: they can be painted with patterns or mirrors, which suits well modern interior design styles.

Full cabinets are a more serious design than shelves. The installation quality requirements are appropriate.

Hinged wardrobe

it is similar to a coupe, but there is a difference in size: coupes have up to 5 doors, and swing doors have no more than 3, which does not prevent them from enjoying equal popularity due to their comparative spaciousness...with other models.

Wall cabinets allow you to design many more options for mounting them above the bed than simple shelves, and they provide more storage space.

The positive characteristics include the following.

Excellent ability to remember many things. They can be divided into several sections, each of which will have enough storage space.

Universal models

Wardrobe-bed models from IKEA have been created with a universal look, which can be used, in addition to a sleeping place, as other furniture. Two, three cabinet components stand on two sides.

In the center is another one, which is also a bed for rest. The cabinet has a polished surface. By pressing on certain places, you can pull the top part. This part begins to descend and turn into a sleeping place.

Moreover, in the opening where the bunk was hidden there was a niche with hangers where you could hang clothes. This amazing bed-wardrobe has already been invented. Next to the bed there are shelves for books and household items. It is convenient to place an alarm clock and home phone there.

Bedside wardrobes for the bedroom - design options

Bedside tables for the bedroom are a special decorative area for organizing and storing things and creating a cozy atmosphere in the room. In addition, this typology allows you to save on the sleeping area, since the design elements can be located on the sides, in accordance with the headboard or, as already mentioned, above the bed.

Bedside tables are installed both for storing things and for decorating a room in various styles.

Note! An important point of choice: material. It must be of the highest quality and from a reliable manufacturer.

When considering bedrooms with an area of 10-15 square meters, you must remember that not all interior styles are suitable for the room and especially for bedside tables, so we will present the most suitable and applicable interior styles.

There are few restrictions on the use of such lockers: the weight of the contents and the humidity in the room.

Provence. Interiors in this style have pastel colors, flowers, natural wood cabinets and many other beautiful but useless accessories on the shelves. A light style that expands the space outward, blending the furniture into the overall look of the room and thereby creating a cozy atmosphere.

Manufacturing materials

The main quality that should be taken into account when choosing mounted models is the material from which they are made. The service life of the furniture depends on it. Natural wood

Wood is often used to make furniture. This material has many advantages:

environmental friendliness and health safety. Natural wood does not emit toxic substances into the air that can negatively affect health;

Products made from natural wood are expensive. But all the positive qualities of this material fully justify its high cost.

MDF boards are often used to make furniture. They have similar qualities to wood, but they have a shorter service life and are not expensive. Almost all the furniture that is provided in furniture stores is made of MDF boards.

Features of this material:

high strength - the slabs can withstand increased loads, but after some time they may deform slightly or sag;
Products of various shapes are made from this material. The slabs can be easily given different lines and shapes that will fit the interior in an original way;
easy assembly - MDF can be quickly assembled and fastened with reinforcing mesh, self-tapping screws, and various accessories;
long service life - products made from MDF can last about 30 years, of course this period is much shorter than that of natural wood, but still it is quite long.

Types of facades

How to hang it correctly

There are two ways to hang a closet:

The cabinet can be hung using a rail that is screwed under its roof. The width of the rail should be from 6 to 10 cm. Next, holes are drilled for dowels with a diameter of 6-8 mm;
