For a girl’s bedroom, you can choose similar shades as an alternative: peach, beige-apricot, lilac. Yellow color activates mental activity and increases curiosity. Green shades have a calming effect and set you up for a wave of dreams. Pink shades calm and set you in a positive mood.

The main place in a girl's room is occupied by the bed, because, unlike boys who often play on the floor, girls love to play on the bed. Here they chat on the phone, talk secrets with girlfriends, read books, comb dolls' hair, or just daydream. Therefore, the larger the bed, the better.

In addition to the bed, you will need cabinets for storing things, shelves for books, and a desk. If the girl is little, then a small table for creativity, board games or doll tea parties would be a good purchase.
In order for the baby to get used to order from childhood, you need to equip the room with places to store toys, such as special baskets, drawers or cabinets. It would be strange to call a child to order without providing the opportunity to maintain this order.
Girls are usually more diligent than boys, but for girls it can also be useful to space the play and study areas as far apart as possible. Ideal when they are separated by a sleeping place.
For a newborn
Decorate the newborn's room in soft, pastel colors. The minimum amount of furniture is enough: a cradle, a small chest of drawers and a changing table. At this age, girls simply like everything bright and the brighter the better. But remember that they will pass this age very quickly, and completely redoing the design of a nursery is expensive. We use old tactics - neutral decoration and furniture, bright toys and accessories.
Children love to play on the floor, so the flooring should be warm, soft and easy to care for. For the play area, you need to leave more space, not cluttered with unnecessary objects.
A little girl's room should not have long-pile carpets, heavy curtains, or too many soft toys. These items collect dust, and it is at an early age that chronic respiratory diseases develop. This is not a strict requirement, just don’t go overboard with dust collectors.
Children's room for a girl 6+ years old
School start age. We set up a study area with a desk and bookshelves. Little fashionistas need a spacious closet to store things, since there can be a lot of them, because in addition to everyday clothes, there is a uniform for school. If there is enough free space in the room, then a relaxation area can be arranged for receiving guests by placing a soft ottoman, an armchair or a set of a small table and chairs. A toy storage area is still needed.
At this age, children cannot be torn away from their devices - they literally grow into tablets. It is not advisable to prohibit it, but we advise you to establish rules about this.
Room for a girl from 8 years old
Significantly different from a little girl's room. Games and dolls are being replaced by new hobbies, which parents do not always understand and share. This is the most important stage in growing up, on which the formation of friendly and trusting relationships between the child and parents depends.
I advise you to try to understand and hear your child without trying to correct her behavior too harshly. In design, you can completely entrust the design to the girl, helping only with advice. This will simultaneously teach you some independence and save you from complaints and headaches.
Don’t be afraid to let the occupant of the room “steer” the design, it teaches responsibility!
There is no place for cartoon characters, dolls or toys in a grown-up room. Although the love for soft toys can remain for many years even in an adult girl.
